September 15 in Warsaw (MOXO Restaurant and Club) there will be a special concert Patricia Zarychtaduring which we will hear – in a jazz version – the greatest hits Whitney HoustonThe singer will be accompanied by a band The Funky Bump! under command Gniewomir Tomczyk.
Whitney Houston meet Jazzis a meeting of timeless hits with jazz improvisations. The role of Whitney will be played by an excellent Polish jazz-soul vocalist Patricia Zarychta. You will hear hits such as “I Wanna Dance with Somebody”, “I Will Always Love You”, “How Will I Know” in jazz arrangements.

Patricia Zarychta is a vocalist, composer, teacher of singing and voice production, graduate of the Academy of Music in Katowice, Faculty of Jazz and Pop Music. Lecturer at the Academy of Music in Łódź. She has collaborated, among others, with Michał Urbaniak, Wojtek Pilichowski, Kuba Badach, Arek Skolik, Piotr Żaczek, Femi Temowo. She has performed at the largest Jazz festivals in Poland, including Warsaw Summer Jazz Days and Jazz Jamboree (2016) and Woodstock 2017 or Opole 2017 (Premiere Concert). She co-hosted the “Zestrojeni” broadcast together with Gniewomir Tomczyk on RadioJAZZ.FM.
The Funky Bump! – That is funk, soul, groove! A project by drummer Gniewomir Tomczyk, performing compositions by legendary American bands, including “Tower of Power”, James Brown, Prince and Earth, Wind & Fire. The Funky Bump! is an extremely energetic and dynamic band while playing, using contemporary sounds (samples, loops) but also constantly interacting with vocalist Karol Chachurski or the audience on stage. Joint shouts, backing vocals, solos… In a word – Power! Power! Power!
