The White House said on the 24th local time that U.S. President Joe Biden’s symptoms continue to improve, the fourth day following being diagnosed with COVID-19.

“President Biden’s symptoms are improving significantly,” said Dr Kevin O’Connor, the President’s primary care physician, in a statement released by the White House.

“President Biden’s main symptom is a sore throat,” O’Connor said.

“Runny nose, cough, and body aches have decreased considerably, but his voice is still in a low-pitched state,” he said.

After announcing that he would continue prescribing Paxrovid and other drugs, he said, “President Biden will continue to be quarantined according to the guidelines.”

Earlier, the White House coronavirus response coordinator, ‘Assisi’, also appeared on ABC and CBS one following another on the same day, saying, “President Biden was feeling much better than before,” and explained, “Vaccines and treatments are working.”

Earlier on the morning of the 21st, President Biden tested positive for COVID-19 in a routine test and has been working under quarantine since then.

President Biden will remain in quarantine for five days from the date of confirmation, and then return to face-to-face work if he tests negative.
