MEXICO CITY (El Universal).— The head of Government, Martí Batres Guadarrama, reported that the activities carried out within the framework of the 181st Representation of the Passion of Christ in the Iztapalapa mayor’s office concluded with a white balance.

“White balance this Good Friday during the procession in Iztapalapa,” he communicated through social networks.

More than 2 million 473 thousand people attended the different representations of Holy Week 2024 in the neighborhoods and towns of Iztapalapa from Palm Sunday to Friday, March 29, he indicated.

The Holy Week Organizing Committee in Iztapalapa, AC (Cossiac), made up of eight neighborhoods, registered on the 24th an influx of 120 thousand people to the Palm Sunday performances; 15 thousand, during Holy Tuesday; 950 thousand on Holy Thursday, and one million 300 thousand on Good Friday, with a total of 2 million 385 thousand.

On the other hand, 2 thousand people attended the Tenorios neighborhood on Palm Sunday; thousand on Holy Tuesday; 5 thousand on Holy Thursday, and 8 thousand on Good Friday, with a total of 16 thousand attendees.

In the town of San Lorenzo Tezonco, an influx of 6 thousand people was recorded on Palm Sunday; 14 thousand on Holy Thursday, and 20 thousand on Good Friday, with a total of 40 thousand attendees.

4 thousand people came to Santiago Acahualtepec during Palm Sunday; 5 thousand on Holy Thursday, and 18 thousand on Good Friday, for a total of 27 thousand attendees.
