which regions are still affected by the epidemic?

For weeks already, the curve of the flu epidemic had been falling. It is being completed in several regions in France.

Santé Publique France announced in its weekly report that 8 regions had moved into the post-epidemic phase and are therefore no longer affected.

Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Brittany, Centre-Val de Loire, Guyana, Grand Est, Hauts-de-France, Normandy and Pays de la Loire are concerned.

Some territories do not observe this phenomenon and continue to be affected. This is the case, in particular, of Ile-de-France.

Conversely, Mayotte and Reunion are in the pre-epidemic phase. This means that the situation is particularly observed in these regions because of the risks. Despite everything, the flu spread curves are down in Mayotte and its inhabitants may well avoid the epidemic.

Faced with this epidemic and despite the drop in contamination, Santé Publique France does not hesitate to recall the importance of the barrier gestures introduced with Covid-19.
