Which cities of the country may receive more rain – Pakistan

The meteorological department has predicted more rains across the country including Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan.

The Meteorological Department has predicted more rains across the country, intermittent rains are likely in Islamabad and surrounding areas, while heavy rains are also likely in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan and Potohar region.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a risk of inundation of low-lying areas and landslides in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Faisalabad and Peshawar, while landslides will occur in Murree, Guliyat, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan.

In Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, the forecast is cloudy and there is a chance of rain.

Due to heavy rain, low-lying areas were flooded across the country, electricity was suspended, the roof of the house, walls, and 19 people died due to lightning.

During the last 24 hours, 80 mm of rain was recorded in Islamabad and 71 mm in Rahim Yar Khan.

On the other hand, the Meteorological Department says that the weather is likely to remain humid and partially cloudy in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Thunderstorm is likely at isolated places in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Shangla and Kohistan, besides Mansehra, Abbottabad, Buner, Bajaur, Mohmand, Swabi, Charsadda and Peshawar. And rain is likely with strong winds.

According to the Department of Meteorology, heavy rains may increase the flow in the local rivers of Guliyat, Mansehra, Kohistan, Malakand, Dir, Swat and Buner. Roads can be affected by sliding.
