Where will Euro 2028 and 2032 be played? Both championships host more countries

EURO 2028 will be hosted by Great Britain and Ireland. The next continental championship in 2032 will be organized by Italy together with Turkey. The announcement of the venues for the two final tournaments in October 2023 was only a formality as more countries did not bid. 24 teams will once more participate in both tournaments.

Turkey was also originally bidding for the 2028 championship, and Italy was also interested. But she had already decided to focus on the championship four years later. Last July, representatives of both countries announced that they would like to host EURO 2032 together. Turkey then withdrew its bid for Euro 2028 and gave way to the British-Irish project.

Euro 2028 will be played in ten stadiums in nine cities in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Ireland. The organizers chose Belfast (Casement Park), Birmingham (Villa Park), Cardiff (Principality Stadium), Dublin (Aviva Stadium), Glasgow (Hampden Park), Liverpool (Everton Stadium), London (Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Wembley), Manchester (Etihad Stadium) and Newcastle (St James’ Park).
