Where do I vote in Córdoba: check the register for the 2023 mayoral election

The people of Cordoba in the capital can now consult the electoral roll to find out where they vote in the election on Sunday, July 23, in which the mayor of Córdoba, councilors and members of the court of accounts will be elected.

To do this, they must access the official page of the Municipal Electoral Board by clicking here.

Once on the site, each one must place the number of the National Identity Document (DNI), Enrollment Book or Civic Book, mark the gender (male, female or unspecified) and origin (national or foreign), and click on the “Check” button.

You will immediately be able to know the name and address of the establishment where you must cast your vote, the polling station number and the order number. The latter facilitates the location by the table president.

Candidates

There are 12 lists that compete for the mayorship. The formula of Hacemos Unidos por Córdoba is headed by the vice mayor of Córdoba, Daniel Passerini, who is accompanied by Javier Pretto.

Together for Change leads Rodrigo De Loredo as a candidate to be the owner of the July 6 Palace, who is seeking the mayor’s office for the second time. His partner is PRO leader Soher El Sukaria.

The Córdoba Neighborhood Meeting formula is César Orgaz – Gonzalo Frontera; that of the Left Front and the Unity Workers, Laura Vilches-Victoria Caldera; that of La Libertad Primero, Verónica Sikora-Enrique Rigatuso; that of Somos Córdoba, Juan Pablo Quinteros-Gabriel Ratner; that of the Humanist Party, Eduardo González Olguín – Luis Alberto Aubrit; that of the Democratic Party, Jorge Scala – Paola González; that of I believe in Córdoba de Todos, Humberto Spaccesi – Silvia Peñaloza; that of the New MAS, Eduardo Mulhall-Davina Maccioni; the Federal Popular Union, Romina Giménez-Norma Sabadini; that of the Córdoba Popular Party, José Saurrin-Miguel Bustos.

What is chosen

In addition to the mayor and vice mayor, 31 titular councilors and 10 substitutes are elected. Also eight members of the municipal Court of Accounts (five holders and three substitutes).

Who should vote

Voting is mandatory for the age group between 18 and 70 years of age. Those over 16 years of age can vote if they appear in the register and provided they have reached that age until the day of the election. All must have a real domicile in the Cordovan Capital. In addition, foreigners who have at least 2 years of “continuous and immediate residence in the municipality at the time of their registration” can cast their vote. The Organic Charter also requires in its article 124 “some” of these qualities such as. “Being married to an Argentine citizen; Being the father or mother of an Argentine child; Exercising lawful activity; be a taxpayer.”

Debate

The candidates Daniel Passerini (HuxC) and Rodrigo De Loredo (JxC) were willing to debate. Although there is an ordinance that establishes the obligatory nature of public discussion, it has not yet been regulated.

What will the scrutiny be like?

The electoral secretary of the capital municipality, Miriam Capone, confirmed that the Turing system will not be used for the provisional vote count, but the traditional system of telegrams and data entry. It is expected to count at 9:00 p.m. with 10 percent of the polled tables.
