Director of Rokiškis Cultural Center Vaiva Kirstukienė said that the history of this celebration is as follows: “When Rokiškis Culture Center had a chapel “Rokiškis muzikantai”, led by Rimantas Tamošiūnas, that chapel really had many musician friends in other districts and could invite them. At that time, the chapel festival took place. When the band was gone, we tried to organize “Kaziuk’s Harmonica” out of inertia for maybe a year, but that event was a “fiasco”. V. Kirstukienė believes that the “Interrampa” theater festival would not survive without friends. However, according to the director, band lovers are not left to their own devices – quite recently, the band festival was held at the branch of the Rokiškis Cultural Center in Juodupė.
