“when you give 5 minutes to someone who has no problem, it’s too much”

In a media release this Friday, August 26, 2022 in the morning, Dr Faya Millimouno deplored the timing granted to his political coalition, compared to others who were entitled to whole hours, by Boni Yayi during their meeting yesterday Thursday. But for the vice-president of the UFDG, the five (5) minutes are even “too much” for a party which has no problem and which agrees on everything. He said it this Friday, August 26 at the headquarters of the Union of Democratic Forces of Guinea.

After long negotiations, Thomas Boni Yayi, former president of Benin has started mediation in Guinea in order to ease the tensions between the authorities and the socio-political actors who do not agree with the conduct of the Transition. But hardly started, some denounce a certain favoritism in the distribution of the timing granted to the political coalitions. For his part, Dr Fodé Oussou Fofana believes that 2 minutes is enough to say that we agree with the CNRD.

“We learned that some were not happy because they were received for five (5) minutes. The question I ask myself, if I have no problem, I don’t want a mediator, I have never asked for the presence of a mediator, in which 5 minutes would be too little to express my position. If the mediator arrives since for me there is no crisis, there is not even any reason for me to meet the mediator. When we give five (5) minutes to someone who has no problem, I consider that it is too much. Because the one who has no problem can easily say to the mediator ”I agree with the CNRD, I agree with the 36 months, I agree with the refoundation, I am d ‘Agree with the 10 points proposed by the CNRD’, we can say that in 2 minutes, so there is no agitation. We have problems, that’s why there was the mediator and these problems we can expose them and that’s what we did for 3 hours while people calm down! “, he hammered.
