The Government established, weeks ago, the amount that will be charged as travel expenses the citizens and citizens who are table authorities during the elections 2023. However, the collection date will be informed through a payment schedule that is published on the web.

STEP 2023: how much do table authorities charge
The amount will be paid to those people who participate in the three electoral shifts of the simultaneous and compulsory open primaries (STEP), the general elections and an eventual second round.
According to the resolution, the payment is broken down as follows: the citizens who work as table authorities will receive 7,000 per electionas per diem, for their work during the PASO, the national elections and a possible second round, to that sum must be added another 3,000 pesos for having effectively participated in the training activities recognized by the Electoral Court.
Prior to all electoral instances, a additional amount of 10 thousand pesosalso in case of having fulfilled functions during the PASO, the national elections and a possible second round. If there is no second roundthen this last additional amount will be 7.000 pesos.
Likewise, the regulations establish that those who have been designated by the National Electoral Justice as delegates and delegates in the polling places, and that they effectively fulfill that function in all electoral instances will receive a sum of 11,500 pesos per election as travel expenses; plus 3,500 pesos for the task of sending reports of events, incidents or additional data requested by the National Electoral Chamber.
To participate in the PASO, the nationals and an eventual second round, each delegate would receive a total of 40 thousand pesos.
In this sense, the resolution indicates that this benefit “can only be collected by those people who have actually performed in the assigned function, therefore, if for any reason the person summoned is absent in any of the elections, they will be will pay the proportional part of the amount that corresponds to it”.
STEP 2023: how to apply for board authority in Neuquén and Río Negro
Los citizens of Neuquén and Río Negro who meet certain requirements can apply to be table authority in the 2023 elections.
To do this, they must register in the Registration of Applicants in the Portal for Table Authorities of the National Electoral Chamber.
