When will AMD release ZEN4 3D V-Cache CPU up to ’16 cores’?

While AMD officially announced ZEN4, rumors regarding a CPU with 3D V-Cache were additionally confirmed.

The ZEN4 3D V-Cache CPU known so far is not expected to have a lower CPU clock, unlike the CPU roadmap and 5800X3D, which is expected to be released at the end of this year or early next year. In the case of ZEN4, there was concern that only the R7 7800X3D would be released alone, but more diverse CPUs are expected to be released.

The news is a tweet of Greymon55, who mentions / leaks various rumor information before the product is released, and it is reported that two X3D models with 12C core and 16 core are being prepared.

It is predicted that 3D V-Cache CPUs with up to 16 cores, such as 8 cores, 12 cores, and 16 cores, will be released. Performance has not been mentioned yet, but as the 5800X3D provides higher gaming performance compared to the latest ZEN4 CPU, the ZEN4 3D V-Cache model is also expected to have very high gaming performance.

The release date is expected in the first quarter of next year. Since the release of the Intel i9 13900KS is expected early next year, it is interpreted that it is trying to respond with a gaming CPU accordingly.
