A beginning of November anomalous on the front of the weather forecastwith clear skies, mild temperatures in much of Italy and no precipitation. The only exception is the “microclimate” of the Po Valley with lots of fog and lower temperatures than the rest of Italy. But when the cold weather arrives autumnal, the real one? The colonel’s team Mario Giuliacci reports that high pressure “should guarantee practically absolute stability” until Saturday 9 November. In short, in the next few days – these are the forecasts of MeteoGiuliacci – we will have sun almost everywhere.
A small crack in this picture will arrive on Sunday 10 November with “the arrival of some clouds and rapid accumulation in the South”. But the date to mark on the calendar is that of Wednesday 13 November, from which the cold air from the Arctic should be able to reach Italy. We are still far away in terms of time, but if these trends were to occur “it would really be an interesting cold entry”. In short, “a remarkable one cold wave” which could hit Liguria first and then the Tyrrhenian Sea with “widespread precipitation, including snowy ones at rather low altitudes”. However, we are talking about a scenario that will need to be confirmed in the next few days.

**Interview with Meteorologist Mario Giuliacci on November Weather in Italy**
**Editor**: Good day, Mario. Thank you for joining us to discuss the weather in Italy this November. Can you start by telling us what we can generally expect during this month?
**Mario Giuliacci**: Thank you for having me! November in Italy typically sees cooler weather as we transition into winter. Generally, daytime temperatures range from about 41°F to 59°F (5°C to 15°C), depending on the region. Central cities like Florence and Rome often experience milder temperatures than northern areas.
**Editor**: We’ve heard about an anomaly in the forecast at the beginning of this month. Can you elaborate on that?
**Giuliacci**: Yes, indeed! At the start of November, we are seeing unusually clear skies and mild temperatures across much of Italy, which is not typical for this time of year. However, the Po Valley is experiencing a “microclimate” that includes significant fog and cooler temperatures compared to the rest of the country.
**Editor**: When can we expect the more traditional autumnal chill to arrive?
**Giuliacci**: The cold weather is anticipated to settle in soon. High pressure systems are providing stability in the weather, which should last until at least Saturday, November 9. After that, we expect more autumnal conditions to set in as temperatures begin to drop.
**Editor**: That sounds promising! With the colder weather coming, do you have any advice for travelers visiting Italy this month?
**Giuliacci**: Absolutely! I suggest travelers pack layers—they’ll want light clothing for the mild days, but also warmer options for chilly mornings and evenings. And don’t forget an umbrella just in case; while precipitation is low initially, we can always see changes in weather patterns.
**Editor**: Thanks for those insights, Mario. It sounds like a beautiful time to visit Italy, especially with the milder weather early in the month.
**Giuliacci**: Yes, it truly is! The sights and experiences in Italy during November, with less tourist traffic and pleasant weather, make it an ideal time to explore. Just be prepared for the transition to colder temperatures as the month progresses.
**Editor**: Thank you again for joining us, Mario! We look forward to seeing how this month unfolds.
**Giuliacci**: My pleasure! Enjoy the autumn in Italy!
