When should the elderly break their fast in Ramadan?

The Ministry of Health and Population advised the elderly to break their fast during the month of Ramadan if they experience a feeling of dizziness and imbalance, in addition to losing consciousness and determining whether they suffer from heart disease.

The Ministry of Health and Population said, the elderly should see a doctor and follow-up continuously, especially those with chronic diseases such as pressure and heart, and continued: All hospitals provide medical and treatment services free of charge for life for the elderly, especially presidential initiatives.

The Ministry of Health and Population added that it is preferable not to make a hard effort while eating healthy meals at Suhoor and Iftar, and advised to avoid excessive consumption of sweets and sugars in general.
