When is it and which lines does it affect?

Given that we have not received favorable responses to the just demands (…) related to medical services and the lack of spare parts and work implements, we have agreed to hold a march next tuesday april 5 (…) from 3:30 p.m. on Calle Delicias”, the union said in a statement.

The union claimed in early February that the Ministry of Finance has not agreed to the reactivation of medical services, which are suspended due to “frequent non-payment.”

“We call on each and every fellow worker to participate, in order to assert the rights and benefits that we have earned, through more than 50 years of responsible work in favor of the users of the most important transportation service in the Valley of Mexico,” reads the statement issued by the union.

What lines will affect the march of the Metro workers?

All members of the workers’ union are invited to the march, that is, regarding 15,000 people. However, the union clarified that only a minimum of personnel will remain in office for the operation of the Metro.

The union warned that this situation might affect the operation of lines 1, 2 and 3.
