What started today will be an “eventful” week. The reason? The formation of a cyclone “which will bring rain, strong winds and the return of snow”. The Meteo Giuliacci team explains this in the latest bulletin published on the site meteogiuliacci.it. “If in these hours we are experiencing a break from bad weather, the situation will change radically between Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd October”, explained the experts. A large area of depression, in fact, “will make its effects felt”.
Starting tomorrow, Tuesday 1 October, we will see “some signs with increasingly thick clouds which will bring the first rains by the evening”. But that’s not all. The team continued: “On Wednesday 2 October we will have Northern Italy hit by widespread rain and thunderstorms which will subsequently extend to the rest of Italy.” This picture will “get even worse between Thursday 3 and Friday 4 October thanks to the arrival of new cold air currents”. In other words, they added, “strong thunderstorms and intense gusts of wind await us in the regions of the North-East and the Center up to the lower Tyrrhenian area”. Finally, on Friday 4 October, “the rains will also affect the southern regions”.
