The UEFA Champions League 2024-2025 will see a new format, completely eliminating the traditional group stage and implementing a new league phase that will last eight rounds.
The league phase will consist of 36 teamsand starting with this edition, each club will face eight different rivals, playing four home games and four away games.
At the end of the eight days, the teams that finish in the first eight positions will directly qualify for the Round of 16and the 16 clubs finishing between 9th and 24th place will play a two-legged play-off to advance.
