Uruguay vs Guatemala: When and where will they play a friendly match?
The Uruguayan National Team confirmed via social media the organization of a friendly match against the Guatemalan National Team in the coming months.

A surprise announcement was made by the official X account of the Uruguay National Team. The “Celeste” stated in a post that it confirms a friendly match against Guatemala to be held next September 2024.
For some months now, there has been talk of Guatemala and Uruguay facing each other, but there was talk that the duel would take place before the 2024 Copa América, but this has no longer happened. However, following the publication made by the Uruguayan team, everything indicates that the date has been reconsidered.
This announcement comes just a week after Uruguay completed its participation in the Copa América, where it finished in third place, and just days before Guatemala faces El Salvador in the United States.
The National Football Federation of Guatemala (Fedefut) has not yet made any statement, but the official X de Uruguay account provided details about the match.
When and where will Uruguay vs Guatemala be played?
According to the information provided by the Uruguayan team, the match against Guatemala will take place on Sunday, September 1 at Chase Stadium in Miami, the same venue where Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami plays as its home team.
Although the time was not confirmed, the match will most likely begin between 4 and 8 p.m. (Guatemala time).
This match will likely be Guatemala’s last before beginning its participation in the Concacaf Nations League, as its first match is scheduled for September 5 against Martinique.
Then on the 9th of the same month they will play against Costa Rica, both matches will be at home.
