WhatsApp is constantly renewing itself, and with all the new features the platform provides, why not add a little cosmetic touch too?
This is once again the site WABetaInfo which tells us what WhatsApp developers are doing. And this time, it’s for a feature that was spotted on the beta for iOS 24.1.10.70 (not publicly available). Which doesn’t mean that it won’t be available on Android in the future.
So what does this new development have in store for us? Well the ability to personalize WhatsApp by choosing a color palette for the theme of its application. There would be a choice of five themes: green, blue, white, pink and purple. This will not only make your WhatsApp more pleasing to the eyes and more adapted to each person’s personality, but also improve readability for people with visual problems.
The update would also be a response to criticisms made of the previous beta of WhatsApp on iOS, which offered a new palette (here corresponding to “green”) whose shade was not to everyone’s taste.
As this feature is still in closed Beta and limited to iOS, you will probably have to wait a while before being able to access it… In general, a few weeks.
