O WhatsApp is testing launching a new tab for updates Status with filters, in which the contents will be listed vertically, according to staff information WABetaInfo.
To open the (future) new tab, you will need to tap the three-dot icon — located in the top left corner of the Updates tab — and choose the “Show all Statuses” option.
As stated, the screen will also include new filters to refine the categorization of Status updates. Are they:
- All: displays all Status updates shared by your contacts;
- Recent: shows the most recent Status updates;
- Viewed: displays a list of Status updates that have already been viewed;
- Silenced: Shows muted updates so you can check Status updates without them cluttering the recent updates list.
Certainly interesting news for the most passionate users of the resource! It is always good to point out, however, that there is no official date for the changes to be released, so we can only wait.
