O WhatsAppthe most popular messaging app in Brazil, today launched important updates for its apps on iOS e no macOSpromising to improve the user experience on both platforms.
For users of iOS, new in version 24.2.75 are the new text formatting options. So far in testing, it is now possible to insert quotes, bulleted lists, numbered lists e code inline.
Although launched a few weeks ago, the messenger also brought in changelog creating and editing stickers — a feature in which users can create their own stickers from photos or edit existing ones with tools.

Already in macOSWhatsApp has also made several significant improvements:
- Navigation improvements: The sidebar has been redesigned to be thinner, making the app easier to navigate.
- New icons and animations were added to the attachment selector to improve the user experience.
- Bug fixes: Several problems were resolved, including the use of the key returnin media sharing and saving, in the “Synchronizing messages” progress bar, in the shortcut ⌘ command F (for search), the key shortcut esc (for calls/conversations and message data) and the option to mute notification sounds.
- New navigation style: Especially for macOS Big Sur 11 and macOS Monterey 12, a new navigation style has been introduced.
