O WhatsApp Today, it began releasing a series of new features to all its users that should further enhance the experience of using its application. Some of the features had already been previously tested by the messenger, while others are completely new.

The first new feature is one that had appeared previously in a beta version of WhatsApp: the possibility of pin messages to the top of the screen both in individual and group chats.

As we explained at the time of testing, this option appears when you press on any message for a few seconds, until a contextual menu appears. From there, the user has the option to pin the message by 24 hours, 7 dias or 30 diasand other participants in the conversation can dismiss the message at any time.

Another new feature that had already been announced by WhatsApp before and is now getting a wider launch are the single view voice messages. Created to prevent a contact from sharing or saving audio, the feature, it is worth remembering, has been available with other media for some time.

From now on, it will also be easier to follow the your connection status during a Video call. To do this, simply press its icon on the call screen for a few moments to monitor, in real time, the quality of your internet at a given moment.

Finally, we also have a new Reply bar for status updates, which, just like on Instagram, is now always visible at the bottom of the screen. Although it is a small change, it should stimulate interaction between WhatsApp users, as it reduces the number of steps needed to interact with a post.

It is possible that some new features have not yet appeared to everyone at the time of publishing this article, but the forecast is that they will be released to more people gradually over time.
