Recently, WhatsApp released a feature that allows you to play voice messages once, something that was already allowed for photos and videos.
However, for many people this mode still cannot be effective, since single playback can make some “unsuspecting” users accidentally touch the content and miss the chance to see a photo sent by their friend.
Therefore, the folks at WABetaInfo believe that soon the WhatsApp should allow dual photo reproduction, videos and even voice messages. In other words, the “clumsy” ones can get a second chance.
In a concept released this Tuesday, the developers showed how the new feature that is being suggested to WhatsApp via the feedback channel might work.
In general terms, the new feature should work very simply: the user takes a photo, chooses how many times it can be reproduced and sends it to a family member or friend.
This prevents the recipient from missing any details due to distraction, for example. He can also view the content a second time to notice possible details in the photo or video.
For now, this feature is not available on WhatsApp, but the messenger’s developers must certainly receive this feedback and implement it, as they have accepted many suggestions from users.
On another front, WhatsApp has also been testing other features to increase user privacy and some important adjustments to the interface.
