For it to work, you must hold down the notification that it will send you WhatsApp about the spam message. When you do this, several options will appear, one of them is the one that will allow you to block the sender at that precise moment.
You will then have the option to report the contact, which will force the application to track their activity and prevent them from trying to deceive other users they have contacted.
It should be noted that an option will also be enabled to block a spam message without entering the chat. To do this, you must go to the app and identify the conversation, which you must hold down until a menu list appears that includes “Block.” With that the process will be completed.
