WhatsApp is testing new features.. video editing and community chat

test واتساب Meta owned many features across Android, iOS, web and desktop platforms. There are new and upcoming features such as communities, a redesigned media picker, visual changes, and more.

Some of these features have been in development since last year, and haven’t been officially released yet. However, WhatsApp is expected to start rolling out these features soon.

The WhatsApp communities have been rumored for some time. This new feature essentially brings your platform groups together in one place.

And if you have multiple but similar groups and need to connect with them all at once, the Communities feature allows you to do so. And you can send ads to all groups within one community, according to the Arab portal for technical news.

WhatsApp communities are the perfect place where group admins have more control over groups across the platform.

The community gets a name and description like a popular group chat, and following typing the name and description of the community, the user can choose to link up to 10 groups in the community.

WhatsApp is also testing a new media selector that makes it easier to send multimedia following taking a photo through the app. The new feature displays the recent section and the gallery section.

All recent photos, videos, and GIFs from your gallery are displayed under the Recent section, while the Gallery section displays all content. And the new media picker appears when you take a picture from the in-app camera.

The platform currently displays the general background when making voice calls through the application. But now you are testing the ability to show your chat background when making voice calls through the app. Although this is a small update. But it may lead to a visual change in the application.

The platform may soon add two new styluses as drawing tools for editing photos and videos via the app. You have more editing options and a total of three pens. Another editing feature that might be coming soon via the Android app is the ability to blur photos.
