A new update brings color to WhatsApp chats. Users are apparently in for a major innovation.
Hamm – The developers of WhatsApp are constantly striving to improve the messenger service. These improvements are often technical in nature, such as implementing new features or increasing performance. Now, however, a significant change is imminent that affects the design.
WhatsApp is probably planning significant changes
It is believed that in the future, WhatsApp users will be able to customize the appearance of all their chats. This comes from an article on the blog WABetaInfo out. Users will be offered various design options to personalize each entertainment to their personal taste. In addition to the design of the chat background, the color of the text messages should also be customizable.

It is expected that at least ten different designs will be available. With this update, WhatsApp comes closer to the possibilities of Instagram, where users have been able to color each chat individually for some time. With WhatsApp, however, it should be possible to apply a design once created to all chats.

This innovation could well be seen as a small revolution in meta-messenger. It will significantly change the look of the service. Until now, it was possible to personalize chat backgrounds with photos, for example, but the text bubbles remained white or green. Now everything is becoming much more colorful.
WhatsApp users can test the feature
The new design is currently still in development and is not available to everyone. WABetaInfo however, believes it is likely that the adjustment will be implemented. In its article, the blog talks about a feature that will be available in a future update. It is still uncertain when the change will be rolled out to all users. The idea of real-time translation of messages has not yet been implemented.
If you would like to test the new functions now, you can take part in the beta program. Apple users can download iOS version 24.11.10.70. Android users will get the visual customization feature with beta version 2.24.20.12. At the beginning of the year, WhatsApp implemented a feature that allows you to customize the app’s base color.
