Jakarta (ANTARA) – WhatsApp or also known as WA provides a new message draft feature so that users don’t forget to reply chat (chat) that enters the application
WA will notify users if there are unsent messages that have been typed previously in the chat, so that users can reply later, reported The Verge, Saturday (16/11).
To notify users about a draft, written messages will display the word “Draft” in green and bold, followed by what the user has previously typed. Users can consider completing the reply when they open the WA application again.
Drafts are also at the top of the chat list so users don’t have to scroll down to find lost or “drowned” chats. This feature is now available in the WA application worldwide.
WhatsApp announced in July that it had reached 100 million monthly active users in the United States (US) and more than two billion users in more than 180 countries. The messaging app recently also got some useful new features, including its own built-in address book feature and custom lists for organizing chats.
The WA address book feature allows users to save contacts in the application so that users will not lose their contact list if they change phones.
While the custom list feature allows users to create and label lists dedicated to specific chats, such as chats with family or coworkers. WhatsApp will then display it at the very top of the inbox, next to the “All,” “Unread,” and “Groups” filters.
