The WhatsApp instant messaging application has introduced a new interface for channel owners when sharing their status updates, which is designed to improve interaction with such updates. The application – according to the specialized website “wabetainfo” – will create a custom layout for updating the channel. In order to clarify that the content published on the status originates from a channel and not from a personal account. To verify whether this feature is actually available to the user, the channel update can be shared to the status of its owner’s personal account, by forwarding the channel update.
