WhatsApp improves user experience in groups

The instant messaging application adds new control options for group chats, allowing administrators to decide who can or cannot join a group. This through a new, more simplified interface for approving membership requests.

WhatsApp is also adding a new “Group in common” screen on people you find in a group. This is to facilitate the discovery of other groups and communities
