Meta has released a new beta version of WhatsApp per iOS with the number of build 24.16.79which introduces a series of new features for testers and enthusiasts. Among these, the most important is the “Favorites” in your chat and call list.

The card “Favorites” allows users to add contacts and groups they access frequently for easier access. Once added to Favorites, contacts will be prominently displayed at the top of the chat and call list. This feature is similar to the one already present in Telegram.
Initially, the new feature will be available only for enthusiasts and testers who will install the WhatsApp client with build number 24.16.79. You can download it fromApp Storebut only if you have an early access subscription. It has not been announced when the option will appear in the final version of the application, but it is expected to happen “soon”.
