Whatsapp: Delete stickers – here’s how – GIGA

If you have created or downloaded too many stickers in WhatsApp, you can delete them. If you have marked too many stickers as favorites, you can remove them. You can see how both work here.

To delete stickers in WhatsApp chat, press and hold your finger on them and then select the trash can icon. But how do you delete sticker sets or remove (your own) stickers from your favorites?

WhatsApp: Delete stickers

Individual stickers cannot be deleted from a sticker pack. However, you can remove entire packs in Android or iOS as follows.

Instructions for Android

1. Open a chat and tap the laughing smiley.
2. Tap the Sticker-Symbol. It looks like a rounded sticky note.
3. Then tap the icon to the right of it, to manage your stickers.
4. Switch to the tab “My stickers“.
5. To the right of the sticker pack you want to delete, tap the Garbage can symbol and confirmed with “Remove“.

Instructions for iOS (iPhone/iPad)

1. Opens a chat.
2. Tap the Sticker-Symbol in the text input field. It looks like a small, rounded sticky note.
3. Tap the Plus-Symbol (+).
4. Switch to “My stickers“.
5. Next to the sticker set you want to delete, tap the Trash can icon and confirms the removal.

WhatsApp: Remove stickers from favorites

If you have added stickers to your favorites, you can remove them again. You can also delete stickers you have created yourself in the same way.

Instructions for Android

1. Opens a any chat.
2. Tap the Sticker-Symbol. It looks like a rounded sticky note.
3. The most recently used stickers are now displayed at the top of the sticker list. Below you can see your Favorites.
4. Holder long press with the finger on one of your favorites and select “Remove” out of.

Instructions for iOS (iPhone/iPad)

1. Open a chat and tap the Sticker-Symbol in the text input field. It looks like a small, rounded sticky note.
2. You will now see the most recently used stickers in the list above. Below you will see your Favorites.
3. Holder long press with your finger on one of your favorite stickers and select “Remove from favorites” out of.
