O WhatsApp Beta received a new update that brings some new features, in addition to changes in the visual part of the messaging application. For example, the animation when switching between sending video or audio messages has changed. Recently, the app received a new interface in the settings section.
Regarding the sending of voice and video messages, this is not a big news. But, in addition to the animation that symbolizes switching from one tool to another, just like in Telegram, now an objective description appears regarding which function is selected to send messages.
This is available in version beta 2.23.18.8 and in addition to the small addition, there are also new arrivals related to calls within the messaging app. In this sense, the new update brought messages sent by the team when some events occur while using the resource.
Thus, the conversation event shows details of the duration of the call when it is lost or ended, in addition to showing the possible reason that led to the call not being successful. However, this new feature is still being rolled out gradually, even for those who are enrolled in the app’s beta program.
Anyone who is not a member of this initiative and is restricted to stable versions of WhatsApp will have to wait a little longer to see these features. Now, those who participate in the testers and haven’t updated the app yet, can look in the store for the update to be available.
