WhatsApp beta for Android again received design adjustments in a new update released this Saturday. As we know, the messenger has been adapting to the concept of Material Design 3 for some time now.
So we already have bottom navigation bar, redesigned action button and now the app gets rounded menus throughout the interface. The novelty is present in version 2.23.15.24.
In addition, we also have some important refinements, such as a new order for the bottom bar elements and also an action button that is more highlighted when adopting a new color.

Another detail commented by WABetaInfo is that this update is now available to an expanded group of beta users. With that, Material Design 3 should finally reach almost all beta program participants on Android.
However, public release of the new design is still some way off. That’s because WhatsApp intends to make other adjustments to the internal menus and also to the settings page.
The public also asks WhatsApp to follow the pattern it has on iOS and provide a truly dark theme on Android, eliminating gray and green. However, this still remains uncertain.
