O WhatsApp is making available a new feature that further improves Conversation Filters, launched in April this year. These are the Listswhich make it possible to categorize your chats to access them more quickly.
It is possible to create Lists for different purposes, whether for family, work or the local community. They can be generated and edited easily by tapping the button with a “+” icon at the top of the Conversations tab. You can also edit them by tapping and holding on a list.

Dialer tests and connection shortcuts on iPad
Now talking about the trial version of the messenger, the staff of WABetaInfo noticed that WhatsApp is working on a new call dialer shortcut on iPad.
Specifically, WhatsApp wants to introduce three new shortcuts to improve the calling experience: the first shortcut allows users to start a new call by selecting one or more contacts from their list; the second simplifies the creation of a new call link, so that anyone can join; Finally, another allows you to quickly call a number by entering it directly into the dialer window, even if it is not saved in your address book.
As highlighted by WABetaInfothe ability to call a phone number directly allows users to make calls without having to add contacts to their address book or manually open a conversation. After entering a phone number, WhatsApp checks whether it is registered on the platform.
WhatsApp for iPad is still only available in beta through TestFlight, so there is no information on when its long-awaited official launch on the App Store will take place.

**Interview with Jane Doe, Tech Analyst at XYZ Tech Reviews Regarding WhatsApp’s New Features**
**Interviewer:** Thank you for joining us today, Jane! WhatsApp has just announced a new feature that enhances its Conversation Filters. Can you give us a brief overview of what this new feature entails?
**Jane Doe:** Absolutely! The new feature is called “Lists,” and it allows users to categorize their chats for better organization and quicker access. Essentially, you can create different lists for various groups – such as family, work, or community chats – making it much easier to manage your conversations.
**Interviewer:** That sounds very useful! How do users go about creating and managing these lists?
**Jane Doe:** It’s quite simple. Users just need to tap the “+” icon at the top of the Conversations tab to create a list. They can also edit existing lists by pressing and holding on a list’s name. This intuitive design is likely to appeal to users looking for a more streamlined chat experience.
**Interviewer:** Can you tell us about the flexibility of this feature? For instance, can users add both groups and individual chats to their lists?
**Jane Doe:** Yes, they can! Similar to how favorite chats work, users can add both group chats and individual conversations to their lists. This versatility provides a tailored experience, allowing people to prioritize their communications effectively. The lists will then appear prominently in the filter bar for easy access.
**Interviewer:** Sounds promising! I also heard that there are some updates regarding WhatsApp’s calling features on the iPad. Can you elaborate on that?
**Jane Doe:** Certainly! WhatsApp is testing a new calling dialer shortcut for iPad users. This will introduce three new shortcuts: one for starting a new call with selected contacts, another for creating a new call link, and a third for quickly dialing a number directly. These features are designed to make the calling experience more efficient and user-friendly.
**Interviewer:** When can users expect to see these new features available to them?
**Jane Doe:** The Lists feature is being rolled out starting now and should be widely available in the coming weeks. The calling enhancements on the iPad are still in the testing phase, but we can expect them to be rolled out after extensive testing and feedback.
**Interviewer:** Thank you, Jane, for providing such insightful information about the latest updates from WhatsApp. We appreciate your time!
**Jane Doe:** Thank you for having me! It’s always exciting to discuss new tech developments.
