According to the company, this update is “ideal for revisiting a message that made you smile, or to check when you sent information to someone, searching by date makes it easier to navigate within your personal chats.”

So you can find WhatsApp messages by date
Searching for messages by date on WhatsApp is very simple. The first thing you should do is enter the chat that interests you. Then, click on the three corner points top right of the screen and choose the “Search” option.
To the right of the text bar will appear a icon representing a calendar, click there. The calendar will appear, you can scroll to the date you are interested in to find messages.
