“When we arrived at the scene, there was heavy traffic, and the victims were inside their vehicle,” explained Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi, Head of Public Relations for Polda Metro Jaya, in a statement to journalists on Saturday, January 4th, 2025.

“Six perpetrators,armed with sharp weapons,blocked the victim’s car and immediately moved to attack the woman sitting beside the driver,” Indradi revealed.
The robbers fled the scene after snatching the husband’s cell phone. The couple reported the incident to the North Jakarta Metro Police.
“The victim suffered abrasions on his right index finger and lost his cellphone, resulting in an estimated loss of IDR 1.5 million,” Indradi concluded.
