On July 26, the release of the eighth and final season greatly saddened fans of Omar, Ivan, Isadora, and the whole crew, to whom they had to say goodbye.

Respira: the new Spanish fiction by the creators of Elite

The trailer, which has just been unveiled, has shaken the internet. Respira, the new series from the creators of Elite, seems to be a reimagined Grey’s Anatomy, with very familiar faces in the lead! Manu Ríos, who played Patrick in seasons 4, 5, and 6 of Elite, will play one of the main roles: a doctor. Alongside him will be Najwa Nimri, known as the badass cop from Casa de Papel, as well as Blanca Suarez, the heroine of Las Chicas del Cable. With drama, sex, and medical emergencies, Respira has all the chances to become the next big hit on Netflix. Episodes will be available starting August 30!

The producers of Elite are preparing Olympo, a teen series about sports

Olympo is shaping up to be a second Elite, but with a sports theme. Although no release date has been announced yet, we know that filming is underway. Nuno Gallego, who plays Héctor in Elite, will be part of it, along with Clara Galle, revealed in the comedy Through My Window, and Augustín Della Cort, seen in The Snow Circle. In this teen series, Olympo will show the daily lives of young athletes on the artistic swimming team, who must train for a prestigious competition. Exposed to the temptation of doping to enhance performance, the characters will face the tensions and pressures of the environment. “How far will they go for the love of the sport?”, reads the description from Netflix.

One of the stars from the last seasons of Elite is Valentina Zenere, who plays Isadora. To the delight of viewers, the actress returned to the screen in May, in a crime film titled Nahir, where she is the protagonist. The synopsis, blending suspense and action, tells the ordeal of the youngest woman to be sentenced to life in prison in the country. Convicted of murdering her boyfriend, she nevertheless accuses her own father of being the real murderer. A thrilling story full of twists to watch on Amazon Prime!

The star of Elite, Ester Exposito, stars in Bandidos

Although she left the cast after season 3, Ester Exposito will be remembered as one of the most sensational actresses from Elite. But what is she up to now? Still in high demand, the actress with 26 million followers on Instagram has become the star of a new series: Bandidos. Released in January 2024, this horror fiction is of a whole different genre, as it talks about a treasure hidden in the underwater grave of a ship that sank during the time of the independence war in Mexico. An original Netflix production that is fantastic and horrific, and definitely worth a watch!
