The Moment 3 update has been available as an option for a few days now for Windows 11. An update that is certainly modest, but which is not without its share of novelties.
The most general contribution of the Moment 3 update is a performance improvement. To be more precise, it is the speed of the most common interactions that will be greatly improved, a progress that will be particularly appreciated by gamers.
And in general, everything, or almost, is faster with the improvements offered by Moment 3. This is for example the case of the ignition of the computer.
The update also gives pride of place to accessibility, with an improved subtitle system and now accessible to many more languages, including French! If you want to use them, you just have to use the combination Windows key + Ctrl + L.
Identification also becomes later, more particularly the so-called “two-factor authentication”, this system which asks you to confirm your identification on another device that you have, typically your telephone. It will now suffice to simply copy a code displayed in your notifications. To save some time…
Another welcome improvement concerns the clock which now includes the display of seconds in the status bar. A small detail that can be very useful when it comes to timing something on your computer.
Finally, in terms of security, the Moment 3 update offers the use of the multi-application Kiosk. A device that allows administrators to decide which apps are allowed, or not, to run on the computer. But rather than having to do it on a case-by-case basis, it’s more regarding deciding on general criteria that will apply to all applications.
And this is not all the new features of Moment 3 here. If it does not offer massive changes, we can see that it brings a lot of small new features which, if they can go unnoticed, will probably facilitate the user life.
