What will change for Proximus and VOO customers in March

The two operators promise better speeds to their customers.

Ultra-fast Internet arrives in Namur

As for Voo, the operator announces the deployment of its Giga offer in the province of Namur. The operator’s customers now have access to download speeds of up to 1Gbps. “Namur marks a new important step that brings us closer to our goal: by the end of 2023, 1 out of 2 customers in Wallonia and everywhere in Brussels will be able to surf at the speed of the GIGA” explains the operator. Of course, the offer is reserved for customers who are eligible for it. In other words, to holders of a fast GIGA formula. The others must deal with the 200 Mbps offered by the operator.

Note that if you want to know if you are concerned by VOO’s GIGA offer, all you have to do is go to the site, select an offer, and click on “Check the speed available at my address”.

Up to 8.5 Gbps at Proximus

Proximus offers a new ultra-fast internet formula, with “Ultra Fiber”, which allows downloads of up to 8.5 Gbps and uploads of up to 1 Gbps.

It is simply the fastest formula. Be careful however, subscribing to it will involve an additional cost of… €42 per month all the same, in addition.

However, such speeds are currently of little interest to consumers for the time being. It will indeed be necessary to wait for the arrival of streams in 8K to really find an interest in it.
