O the Game Awards 2022 will take place on December 9 and promises to be an awards night for the most notable games of the year, but it will also serve as a stage for reveals. Geoff Keighley, presenter and creator of the event, has already informed on his Twitter that we will have explosive news and up to 50 new games, so what can we expect from the expected event? The Game Awards 2022 take place on December 9, starting at 9:30 p.m., with the ceremony starting at 10:00 p.m. Yes, due to the time difference the event will unfortunately be quite late.

Yep, Geoff Keighley, too, also commented on Twitter that between 40 and 50 new games will be showcased at the event. Of course, the number seems exaggerated, but it should be remembered that some of them may be versions of existing games but adapted to other platforms, as has happened before.

Keighley pointed out that, for now, the PS5 and Xbox Series X are still at the start of their careers, so they should be highlighted, with some “spectacular news”. It’s not hard to imagine major re-releases arriving in remastered or enhanced form for these consoles, taking advantage of their graphical capabilities.
