As part of this Forum of ideas, everyone has the opportunity to vote for their five favorite ideas. THE 30 ideas with the most votes will be selected for the phase finale of voting.

Live a sound and artistic experience with the British Rebecca Ballantoni and Rowdy SS at the Magasin de Grenoble

Saturday March 11 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Store – national center for contemporary art of Grenoble. An exceptional evening with free access, in the presence of two British artists, is organized to mark the end of the exhibition La Position de l’amour.

Rebecca Ballantoni, Caribbean-born artist whose work explores everyday events through the lens of black women’s writing, metaphysics, philosophy, religion and spirituality, will present a specially curated performance and titled Perpetual disclosure, Deep topography. Revelation (CMYK).

She will be accompanied by the artist Rowdy SS, specialist in performances around sound, music, dance and movement. It will provide a sound experience conducive to amplifying thoughts, emotions and imagination.

The Clap Yo’ Hands choir and its orchestra invite the 50 musicians of the great orchestra of the Harmony of Grenoble for a concert around Broadway musicals, for the benefit of the association Sud Agglo Solidarity Watch (VSSA). This association helps refugees, migrants, people in great difficulty by supporting them in their daily lives, for housing, food or even administrative procedures.

Remembering the Fukushima nuclear accident at the Maison de la Musique in Meylan

Saturday March 11to the house of music of Meylantwo shows will be presented by the Hexagon National Stage in memory of the nuclear accident of March 11, 2011 in Fukushima.

First, at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., the public will be able to discover Fukushimaof Marc Chalosseadapted from the book by Michael Ferrier,Fukushima, story of a disaster (ed. Gallimard, 2012). This is a musical show with choir and singer-speaker, performed by the set 20.21specializing in XX musice and 21e centuries, open to contemporary creation.
The first part of the show recounts the great earthquake experienced from Tokyo where the author lives. The second part retraces the tsunami that followed and the chaotic journey of the author in the contaminated zone. The third part moves away from the narrative and takes the form of an essentially musical work in memory of the victims. The public is invited to take place in an immersive device with spatialized mixed sounds.

Then, at 8 p.m., Fukushima Work in progress: a Japanese legendshow with Audrey Vernon et Thomas VDB.

The plot: the representative of Tepco, the electricity company of Fukushima, recounts the accident day by day. She eyes the peasant world: “Fukushima is no longer a danger. The news is great! The unemployed even find work there by decontaminating the land. Life will resume in the red zone”. An astonishing piece that traces the catastrophic management of the drama by the authorities by combining humor and object theatre.
