What to do in Caracas during the first two weeks of July

The prequel to The Last of Us will be released in Venezuelan movie theaters on July 4. A Place in Silence: Day Onewhich will tell the story of an invasion of aliens thirsty for human blood on Earth.

Football fans will be able to enjoy the quarter-final match between Canada and Venezuela on July 5.

For these first weeks of July, the Trasnocho Cultural will have two historical plays on its theater billboard, one will be The flute lesson, set in Prussia in 1730, and the other will be Diogenes and the flying shirts, set in Venezuela in 1945.

The flute lesson

This is a historical drama set in Prussia in 1730. At that time, the young heir to the throne Friedrich, of the House of Hohenzollern, will flee with his lover, Johannes Herman Von Katte, lieutenant of the king’s personal guard. However, both will be captured and sentenced to death.

This work is directed by Luigi Sciamanna and has a cast made up of Erick Palacios, Carlos Manuel González, Rafael Monsalve, Wilfredo Cisneros, Larisa González, Luís Sarmiento, Valentina Rodríguez, Antonio Cuevas and Sciamanna himself.

The play is directed by Julie Restifo and written by Javier Vidal. The cast includes Vidal himself, Jan Vidal-Restifo and Theylor Plaza.
