O Apple Watch has become an indispensable device for many people. With it, you can view the calories spent during an exercise, see your most important notifications, make voice calls and even receive alerts when something is not going well with you, such as a very low or high heart rate, for example.
One of the components of the watch is the speaker, located on the left side of the box. Among other things, it is used to emit sounds for alerts and incoming calls.
If you have already faced a problem with it, know that some tips can help you resolve it. Check out what to do below! ????⌚️
Check that the watch is not obstructed by a cover. In these cases, remove it and see if that helps. Check that there is no dirt trapped. If necessary, use a lint-free cloth. If that doesn’t help, open Control Center, tap the icon represented by a drop and leave the Apple Watch in the water for a few seconds to eliminate the residue. Then, hold down the Digital Crown to expel accumulated water.
Tip: You can repeat the above process multiple times to expel as much water as possible from your Apple Watch’s speakers.
Make sure your Apple Watch isn’t in silent mode. To do this, open the Control Center and see if the icon represented by a bell is not highlighted in pink. You can also see this by going to Settings » Sound and Touch. If so, uncheck “Silent”. Restart your watch and see if this resolves the issue. To do this, press and hold the side button, tap the button located in the top right corner of the screen and use the slider. Then, press the side button again for a few seconds, until the apple appears.
Restore the watch system.
If problems persist, contact Apple to have your issue reviewed. This can be done by calling 0800-761-0880, from the site or through the Support app.
