The native app Calendar (Calendar) allows you to add and check all your personal/work commitments in a very organized and simple way.
If it is your default client for such tasks, you have most likely already come across duplicate events. Fortunately, a few simple steps can help you solve this type of problem.
Check out! ????️
Check the calendar lists you subscribe to, as they may be duplicates or have different titles but serve the same purpose. To see this on iPhone/iPad, open Calendar, tap “Calendars” and check/uncheck the ones you think are duplicates. On your Mac, click the small calendar icon (in the top left corner) or go to View » Show Calendar List in the menu bar. Then deselect them. Delete a duplicate event manually. To do this, simply press and hold your finger on it and select “Delete” or tap on it and go to “Delete Event”, in the case of the iPhone/iPad. On Mac, right-click on it and go to “Delete”. On your Mac, go to View » Update Calendars, in the menu bar. Or, if you prefer, use the shortcut ⌘ command R. Turn iCloud Calendars off and back on to see if that resolves the issue. On iPhone/iPad, open Settings, tap your name (at the top of the screen) and go to “iCloud”. Then select “Show All”. Disable and enable the “Calendars” option once more. On your Mac, open System Settings, click on your photo (at the top left) and then click iCloud » Show All. Then, uncheck it, wait a few seconds and check “Calendars”. Log out of iCloud on your device and sign in once more using your Apple ID. On your iPhone/iPad, go to Settings, tap your name and go to “Sign Out”. On your Mac, open System Settings, click your name and click “Sign Out…”. Restart your iPhone, iPad, or Mac to see if this resolved the issue. Check that iCloud Calendar is not experiencing any instability in the Apple Status page. If so, wait for the problem to be resolved and try once more.
