Make sure your iPhone or iPad supports the latest software update. Check if there is free storage space on the device. In that case, the software may suggest to momentarily delete some apps. If you see a message like “Could not fetch updates” or “Could not install update”, try to update using a Mac or Windows PC. The white progress bar means the software update is being applied. The speed of progress will depend on the size of the update itself and the amount of files stored on your device. To ensure that there are no problems in the meantime, please let the iPhone/iPad charge. The update download may also take longer than usual if your network speed is very slow. In these cases, try trying to connect to another network or, if you have a good data plan, use it for that. You can also remove the update and download it once more. To do this, open Settings and go to General » iPhone Storage [ou iPad]. Locate the update in the list, select it and go to “Delete Update”. Then go back to Settings » General » Software Update and try once more.
