Like its competitors, the Spotify allows users to download their favorite songs to listen to them even when there is no internet connection.

Despite being very useful, this function ends up not always working the way it should. Thinking about it, we decided to separate, in this article, some tips to help you in these situations.

Check it out! ????

Downloading music is only available to users who subscribe to the Spotify Premium. So make sure you have a currently active subscription. To download music, you must also be connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network. Check whether one of the two cases currently applies before downloading anything. Check if there is enough free space on your iPhone/iPad for the songs. You can check this out by going to Settings » General » iPhone Storage. Make sure “Download via cellular network” is enabled in settings (by tapping the gear icon and “Audio quality”). Lower the download quality of the songs. To do this, go to the settings, under “Audio Quality” and choose between “Low”, “Normal”, “High” or “Very High”. Clear the app’s cache. Make sure the app is updated to the latest version. Disable the VPN network on your device and try again. Remove all downloads and try again to download some music.
