What to do if iPhone is in infinite loop (boot loop)?

O iPhonejust like any other electronic device, is not free of problems that may occur during use — even if they occur not as often as in models from competing brands.

right here, in MacMagazinewe’ve already taught you how you can solve any of these problems that may occur around, like loading, for example.

Today, our focus is to show what can be done if your smartphone is in infinite loop (boot loop) — that is, when it keeps restarting without stopping and without leaving the Apple logo.

Let’s go to the tips?! ????

  • Force restart iPhone:
    • iPhone 8 or newer: Press and release the volume up button, then press and release the volume down button. Then press and hold the side power button and when the Apple logo appears, release it.
    • iPhones 7: Press and hold the volume down and power buttons at the same time. Release them when the apple appears on the screen.
    • iPhone 6s or SE (1st generation) and earlier: Press and hold the Power and Home buttons. Release both when the logo is shown on the screen.
  • Remove the SIM card from the tray using the clip that came with the iPhone box or another paperclip (in cases where your SIM is physical, of course).
  • Try resetting or resetting your device using iTunes or the Finder on your Mac or PC. Remember that you need to make a backup first so you don’t lose your data.

If still nothing resolves the issue, the next step may be to contact Apple Support. This can be done by calling 0800-761-0880, on the website or in the Support app.

If you live in São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro, you can still make an appointment at one of the two Apple Stores or, in other regions, at an Apple Authorized Service Center.

We hope everything works out there! ????
