As is often the case in European races, the lights went out at 3:00 p.m. according to local time, which was the same as in mainland Spain. After a Spanish GP that could be seen for free on open television, this weekend to watch Formula 1 in Spain there was only the option of DAZNF1, the owner of the television rights to the top category, either through its own platform or on Movistar+.
For Latin fans, each country has a different channel, although they all vary between Star+, ESPN and Fox Sports. In addition, the official F1 service called F1 TV is available in their territories, which, however, cannot be subscribed to in Spain.
Max Verstappen started first in the Austrian race, with Lando Norris again behind him. George Russell also finished third in the podium positions, with Carlos Sainz fourth. Sergio Pérez started eighth and Fernando Alonso, 15th.
Which F1 drivers have already won the Austrian GP?
Max Verstappen is the driver who has stood on the podium the most times at the Austrian GP thanks to his four victories, while the second most successful driver is Alain Prost, with three wins.
Of the remaining active drivers, Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton have both managed to win here twice, while Charles Leclerc has done so once. George Russell joined in 2024.
