Bárbara Peraza, Rorayma Camacho, Roytmar Camacho and Jesús Eduardo Sánchez are four doctors who are detained in Barquisimeto accused by the Public Ministry of malpractice. His case, aired on social networks, has raised a lot of dust. The lawyer of three of them, Almarina Ferrer, rejects the actions of the prosecutor Tarek William Saab.
“Beyond the substance of the matter, their rights were violated, they were exposed to public ridicule, subjected to volatile communication on social networks”said.
“We are barely imposing ourselves on the minutes. These people have families and are well-known doctors in their areas, they cannot treat them assuming that they are criminals, ”he added.
The accusations once morest the doctors
Prosecutor Tarek William Saab indicated last Thursday on his Twitter account that the doctors will be charged with a deceptive offer, continued fraud, very serious injuries with multiple victims and criminal association.
“What proceeds is the beginning of the investigation, which will take 45 days, following which what proceeds will be determined, if it is accused or if there is a dismissal”Ferrer noted.
The first accusation is from December 20 last year. 15 days ago, four new accusations of malpractice were added.

arrested
“They were never notified to appear,” said the lawyer, who said that deprivation of liberty was not justified.
The doctors are detained in two delegations of the Barquisimeto Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations Corps.
“So far there has been no access to the records. Things were published through networks and, in three days, the steps were taken, destroying all due process. Ordinary routes were not exhausted, ”he assured.
The doctors have more than 20 years of experience. They work at the Las Mercedes Clinic, at the Agustín Zubillaga Pediatric Hospital in Barquisimeto, at the Antonio María Pineda Hospital and at the Anticancer Hospital, Ferrer reported.
“What we want is that justice be done, that if there are responsibilities be established, but that everything be done following due process”he concluded.
