What the Cybertruck Looks Like in the World of Electric Scooters

This is the second version of the Infinite Machine electric scooter, reminiscent of Tesla’s much-hyped Cybertruck. It accelerates to 88.5 km/h.

Brooklyn-based electric vehicle startup Infinite Machine unveiled a futuristic electric scooter last year with an angular design reminiscent of the Cybertruck. The company recently announced a limited second production run called P1: First Edition.

While many electric scooters mimic classic scooter designs, other designers see the electric revolution as an opportunity to push the envelope.

Infinite Machine is clearly not following the beaten path, taking inspiration from the rugged, geometric lines of Tesla’s Cybertruck. The startup opened pre-orders for the first batch of electric scooters in October 2023, and is now preparing to release a more limited First Edition.

The latest version features the same powder-coated steel frame and anodized aluminum panels as before. The rear cargo area is modular, allowing owners to customize the storage space to their liking. There’s a bag hook and helmet lock on the console, and there’s plenty of storage under the seat.

The 6 kW hub motor produces 12 kW of peak power for a top speed of 55 mph (88.5 km/h). The removable UL-certified battery is a bit different from the previous one. It provides the same range on a single charge of up to 60 miles (96.5 km), but has a capacity of 3.2 kWh and a voltage of 72 volts.

The steering wheel is equipped with an information panel controlled by the proprietary InfiniteOS operating system. The built-in infotainment system with Apple CarPlay support is accessible via the touch screen. The electric scooter is equipped with front and rear cameras, GPS tracking, and a remote unlocking function via a smartphone app.

Additional features of the Infinite Machine P1 include ABS braking, a two-seater seat, a large daytime running light made of vertical LED strips, spare batteries are available, and the P1 can be equipped with a similar-style trailer.

The P1: First Edition is limited to 250 units. The starting price is $10,000. Shipping to U.S. customers will begin in 2025, with international customers being placed on a waiting list.

Earlier, Solar presented the ideal electric motorcycle for the city: a 13 kW engine with an acceleration of up to 105 km/h.

Infinite Machine P1: First Edition – The Cybertruck of Scooters

The world of electric scooters is evolving rapidly, with new models popping up seemingly every day. While many follow traditional designs, some manufacturers are taking a bolder approach, pushing the boundaries of what an electric scooter can be. Infinite Machine, a Brooklyn-based startup, has already made waves with its unique, Cybertruck-inspired electric scooter, and now they’re back with a limited production run called the P1: First Edition.

A Futuristic Design That Turns Heads

The Infinite Machine P1 is instantly recognizable, thanks to its stark, angular design. It’s a far cry from the sleek, rounded scooters you’re accustomed to. Rugged Construction and Customization Options

Beyond its eye-catching design, the P1: First Edition boasts robust construction. The frame is made of powder-coated steel, while the panels are crafted from anodized aluminum, ensuring durability and longevity. One key feature of the P1 is its modular rear cargo area. Additional convenience features include a bag hook and helmet lock on the console, as well as ample storage space beneath the seat.

The P1 also boasts a long range, thanks to its removable, UL-certified battery. A single charge can take you up to 60 miles (96.5 km), making it ideal for daily commutes and longer trips. The battery has a capacity of 3.2 kWh and a voltage of 72 volts, ensuring ample power and endurance.

Smart Features and User-Friendly Interface

The Infinite Machine P1 is equipped with a variety of smart features that enhance both safety and convenience. The steering wheel integrates an information panel, powered by the proprietary InfiniteOS operating system. This provides riders with access to key information, such as speed, battery life, and navigation data. The integrated infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay, allowing you to access music, maps, and other apps directly from the touchscreen.

Furthermore, the P1 includes front and rear cameras for enhanced situational awareness, GPS tracking for location services, and a remote unlocking feature accessible through a smartphone app. These features contribute to a more connected and secure riding experience.
