Against psoriasis, anti-itch shampoos
Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory disease of the skin due to a cell renewal process that is too rapid, as if accelerated. The cells of the epidermis, which are then too numerous, result in the formation of red patches with scales.
In more than 80% of cases, people with psoriasis have lesions on the scalp. The plaques located on the head can give rise to small dandruff due to desquamation, but also to severe itching. All or only part of the scalp may be affected, some people sometimes having a “psoriatic helmet“like a shell of scales all over the skull. Scalp psoriasis can cause severe scratching urgesand hair loss, not to mention the embarrassment or stigma that can occur when the lesions are visible.
